QR codes with student reviews on the back of books.  The podcasted reviews are links.

In Bb...Content Collection, within a folder, a folder called web content.  Not searchable by the web but anyone can listen to it on the web if they have the link.

 

Used bit.ly to create the QR codes.  Use the 360 view.  Paste the long code into bit.ly.  Click on info page and it shows you the QR code.

 

Use as a "museum" at the end of a period of study.  Tape the presentation then upload it.

 

Christine modeled her ideas, let kids practice the podcast, then recorded.

Minecraft video produced by students.  Students interviewed to explain how to play the game,  Need to be adventurous!  Students talked about using scratch to create video games.  Student take initiative and create.

 

Students working with STEM to create video games about global warming and the environment.

 

Codacademy...Ways to learn coding.  Using technology to increase their own learning.  Learnine effective communication.  A student explains how he became a teacher on codacademy.

 

Songify...a cool app to read your info into and it creates a song.

Shared the Macbeth textbook created by Brian Tippy for the ipad pilot project at SHS, now located on iTunesU.  The textbook creator allows you to highlight text, create quizzes, include video clips.
